0. Operator and payments
EKIDAN AI is operated by ICHING LLC. All prices are in USD. Payments are securely processed by Stripe. EKIDAN.AI does not store full card details. Card statements show EKIDAN AI. Credits and access are delivered immediately after successful payment. (consistent with the Refund Policy.) Lifetime early bird: the first 500 eligible lifetime purchases are USD 128, then USD 188. Availability is rechecked by the server at checkout.
1. Service description
This service ("Takashima Ekidan AI") uses AI to generate I Ching interpretations based on the public-domain Takashima Ekidan texts (1893/1901 editions). It is a cultural and entertainment experience offered for reference only. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or any other professional advice, and must not be used as the sole or principal basis for any decision.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use this service.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information. One account per person as a general rule. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and must notify us of any unauthorised use.
4. Credits
Credits are a virtual unit valid only within this service; they are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged back into money (save as set out in the Refund Policy). Credits come in two buckets: subscription credits, which expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle, and permanent credits, which do not expire. Consumption always draws from subscription credits first, then from permanent credits. Each AI interaction (an initial reading or a follow-up) costs 5 credits. Abuse of the referral programme (self-referral, fake accounts, and similar) may result in removal of credits and/or termination of the account.
5. Subscriptions and lifetime membership
Monthly and annual subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods (see the Refund Policy). Lifetime membership is a single payment that entitles you to ongoing monthly credit grants for as long as the service is offered — this is the lifetime of the service, not the lifetime of the user. If the service is permanently discontinued, our obligations end at that time.
6. Acceptable use
You may not (a) use the service for unlawful or harmful purposes; (b) attempt to extract or reverse-engineer prompts or models; (c) engage in automated bulk access; or (d) resell the service or its outputs.
7. Intellectual property
The underlying 1893/1901 Takashima Ekidan texts are in the public domain. The platform's software, design, templates, and curated case annotations are the operator's property. You retain ownership of your questions and receive a personal, non-commercial licence to the readings generated for you.
8. AI disclaimer
AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate or incomplete. We make no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you actually paid to the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. The courts of Wyoming shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply in your country of residence.
